Renata moved from Maine to Texas in 2008 and quickly fell in love with the culture of San Antonio. Not wanting to leave, she decided to move from Stone Oak to Downtown and study at the University of Texas at San Antonio. While wrapping up her degrees in Interior Architecture & Design and Communications, Renata began taking Real Estate classes and became a licensed Realtor in 2015. 

After working in Real Estate for several years, Renata created a niche working with buyers and investors in the Southtown area of San Antonio. Taking into account her studies in Interior Design, and innate knack for decorating, Renata offered to ‘stage’ one of her client’s listings to help it gain exposure on the market. Not only did the staging help the home sell, but the time spent doing it was so enjoyable that Renata knew she wanted to make staging part of her daily routine. She began offering her staging services to other Realtors in her office, and from that point Renata’s hobby organically grew into the company it is today, Chic Staging!

Although Renata's keen on design style, which stems from mid-century modern inspiration, she enjoys dabbling with other styles such as traditional, shabby chic or modern farmhouse if it suits the aesthetic of a client's home. Her goal is to provide quality home staging at an affordable price to help her clients’ homes sell quickly and for top dollar!
